it felt like a confluence of past and current lives: former cross-fitter (one of the quitters I guess 😅), mom of two and occasional doer of hard things. What resonated the most with me was this idea of the self-fulfilling prophecy. There's a siren comfort in believing "we're all doomed to fail" as opposed to the discomfort in trying, failing and trying again.
